Detail
In order to specify SMTP authentication settings for registering relay stations, the software switch
settings must be specified. For details, refer to
"Specifying security settings for e-mail
transmissions (mode 380)" on page 2-14 .
If SMTP authentication settings for SMTP reception have been specified on the relay station for the IP
relay operation, SMTP authentication settings must be specified on the machine sending the fax when
the relay station is registered.
Specifying the settings

In the Network Settings screen, touch [IP Relay Settings].

Touch [IP Relay Destination Registration].

Touch the button for the number where the relay station is to be registered.
Parameter Description
IP Relay Destination
Registration Register the address of IP relay stations.
Enter the domain name specified for "Self-Domain Name" on the relay station when limit-
ing reception according to the domain name during IP relay operations.
Relay Result Port Specify the number of the port receiving communication results for IP relay operations.
