3.3 User mode
The procedure for using the menu that appears on the left side of the main User mode page is described
below.
3.3.1 System tab
On the System tab, information and settings concerning the system configuration of this machine are
displayed.
Device Information
A summary of the system configuration for the machine and its status is displayed.
Detail - Paper Tray
Information on the paper trays installed on the machine is displayed.
Item Description
File Memory Shows the total amount of the machine’s memory and the expansion memory.
Work Memory Shows the amount of work memory.
Network Shows the type of network currently used.
Duplex Shows whether or not the optional duplex unit has been installed.
Paper Tray Shows the statuses of installed paper trays.
Finisher Shows whether or not the optional separator has been installed.
Document Handler Shows whether or not the optional duplexing document feeder has been installed.
Fax Shows whether or not the optional fax kit has been installed.
Printer Shows the statuses of installed printer options.
Scanner Option Shows the statuses of installed scanner options.

Paper Tray Shows the paper type, paper size and amount of paper remaining in the installed paper trays.
