4.5.45 System > Calibrator Menu (Internal 50 MHz)
The Calibrator Menu is used to select and control the internal 50 MHz RF calibrator. It can also select the optional, external
1 GHz accessory calibrator (Model 2530). Note that this menu does not contain any items related to sensor calibration - it is
only for controlling the calibrator for use as a signal source. For sensor calibration information, refer to Section 3.5 and
Section 4.5.2 of this manual.
Main Pg2 > System > Calibrator > Cal Output
Description:
Enable or disable the RF output of the Calibrator.
Menu Type:
Multiple Choice.
Choices:
Off: Disabled
On: Provides 50 MHz CW output
SCPI Command:
OUTPut:INTernal:SIGNal
Main Pg 2 > System > Calibrator > Set Level
Description:
Set the output of the selected calibrator in dBm.
Menu Type:
Numeric value.
Range:
-60.0 dBm to +20.0 dbm (Internal 50 MHz)
-50.0 dBm to +20.0 dbm (External 1 GHz)
SCPI Command:
OUTPut:INTernal:LEVel:[POWer]

Description:
Select the active calibrator for calibration and control.
―Int‖ selects the internal 50 MHz calibrator. ―Ext‖
selects an external 1 GHz calibrator. "Ext" cannot be
selected if an external calibrator is not connected.
