2.2.1 SK TU1- CANnord / CANopen module, overview
The communication modules SK TU1-CAN bor SK TU1-CAO are used to connect drive units of the SK
700E series to higher level automation systems via CANnord or CANopen.

2.2.2 CANnord module, SK TU1-CAN
The CANnord interface on NORD
frequency inverters enables
parameterisation and control of
devices as per the CAN
specifications 2.0A and 2.0B. Up
to 110 nodes can be addressed
on a single Bus. Termination
resistors are integrated and can
be switched in.
The transfer rate can be set to
between 10 kBit and 500 Kbit/s.
The conflict and error recognition
integrated in the CANnord
protocol enables maximum Bus
usage and data security.
