E.1 Overview
An optional handset can be installed on the IBS-19A Series as a second audio
output/input device. The Realtek HD Audio controller of the IBS-19A Series allows the
system to play audio through two different audio devices (speakers or handset)
simultaneously or to record audio either from the front panel microphone or from the
handset. This appendix describes how to configure the second audio input/output device
in Windows 7 and Windows XP environment.
E.2 Realtek HD Audio Manager Configuration
This section describes how to configure Realtek HD Audio Manger in Windows 7 and
Windows XP OS.
E.2.1 Windows 7 OS
To configure the Realtek HD Audio Manger in a Windows 7 OS, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Make sure the Realtek high definition audio driver has been installed on the
system. If the audio driver has not been installed on the system, please refer to
Launch the Realtek HD Audio Manager. Double click either:
