Operating Environment
The SAS/SATA InFusion is intended for indoor use and should be operated in a clean,
dry environment.
Before using this product, ensure that its operating environment will be maintained within
these parameters:
•
Temperature: 5 to 40 Centigrade.
•
Humidity: Maximum relative humidity 80% for temperatures up to 31
Centigrade, decreasing linearly to 50% relative humidity at 40 Centigrade.
•
Altitude: Up to 2,000 m.
The design of the SAS/SATA InFusion has been verified to conform to the applicable
safety standards (EN 61010-1:2001, UL 61010-1 2nd Edition and CAN/CSA C22.2
No.61010-1-04) per the following limits:
•
Installation (Overvoltage) Category II.
•
Pollution Degree 2.
•
Protection Class I.
NOTE:
Direct sunlight, radiators, and other heat sources should be taken into
account when assessing the ambient temperature.
WARNING
The
SAS/SATA InFusion
must not be operated in explosive,
dusty, or wet atmospheres.
NOTES:
Installation (Overvoltage) Category II refers to local distribution level, which
is applicable to equipment connected to main supply (AC power source).
Pollution Degree 2 refers to an operating environment where normally only
dry non-conductive pollution occurs. Occasionally, a temporary
conductivity caused by condensation must be expected.
Protection Class 1 refers to grounded equipment, in which protection
against electric shock is achieved by Basic Insulation and by means of a
connection to the protective earthing conductor in the building wiring.
