The user will be prompted:
“Short the Sim. Cable Leads (clip together)”
Clip the alligator clips together and then Select the
OK soft key. The RIO4000 will perform a self
calibration and then the user will be prompted:
“Connect Sim. Cable Leads to the device”
Below is an example of 2, 3, and 4-Wire RTD Configurations for an RTD Sensor to a given
manufacturer’s Temperature Transmitter. There can be different configurations, however these
examples illustrate the corresponding RIO4000 connection required to perform RTD Simulation for 2, 3
and 4 Wire RTD’s.
