following definitions:

• US or imperial gallons
• Ratio gallons/barrel

US: 31.5 gal/bblfor liquids (normal cases)
US: 42.0 gal/bblfor oil (petrochemicals)
US: 55.0 gal/bblfor filling tanks
imp: 36.0 gal/bbl
