The input LEDs, independent of video group, display the selected output's audio volume level.
In this example, the
lit input buttons indicate 56.5 to 62.5 percent of the applied audio input.
The unlit input buttons indicate an audio volume attenuation of 25 dB to 29 dB.
26 dB attenuation,
61% volume
Press the Esc button to decrease the audio attenuation (thereby increasing the
audio level) that is applied to the output volume level by 1 dB per button push.

5. Exit the Audio mode: Press and release the Audio button.

The Audio LED stops blinking and lights steadily.
The Video button lights.
Press the Audio button to exit audio mode.
All input LEDs and output LEDs
return to the unlit state.
Setting the Front Panel Locks (Executive Modes)
The matrix switcher has three levels of front panel security lock that limit the operation of
the switcher from the front panel. The three levels are:
z z
Lock mode 0 — The front panel is completely unlocked (all functions are available).
z z Lock mode 1 — All changes are locked from the front panel (except for setting
Lock mode 2). Some functions can be viewed.
z z Lock mode 2 — Basic functions are unlocked. Advanced features are locked and can be
viewed only.

z z Making ties
z z Saving and recalling presets
z z Setting input audio gain and attenuation
z z Changing Lock modes
Advanced features consist of:
z z Selecting S-video or composite video
z z Setting video and audio output mutes
z z Setting audio output volume
z z Setting the rear panel remote port baud rate
NOTE: The switcher is shipped from the factory in Lock mode 2.
