The following table lists the contents and functions of the IPDS Attachment information.
Display content Function
Close Cancels the operation and closes the screen.
OK Sets up the information.
Attachment Type Sets the IPDS online connection type.

TCP/IP (network online)
Attachment Name Input the attachment name within 31 bytes here. Already
registered attachment name cannot be registered.
Input IPDS Resolution Set the resolution of the input data to one of the following three
levels.
•
Auto
• 240
• 300
Input Queue Name Set the Input job destination queue.
The queue should be set for the IPDS stream.
Port No. Can be set when the attachment type is TCP/IP. The number
should be between 5001 and 32767. The initial value is 500.
Job Split Time-out Set the job splitting time-out here. If no print data or control
command is received within the specified time, the job is output
without splitting. The input value should be between 1 and 60
(seconds). The initial value is 10.
Maintenance function The password for the maintenance has to be input.
Report to Host as Simplex Printer Set when it is necessary to disable the function to skip the reverse
page from the host side.
Finely Adjust Barcode Edit Makes fine adjustment of the width between the barcode bar and
gap used in the IPDS. The unit is 1/600 inch.

Specify Highlight Color Edit The color information corresponding to each of highlight color
numbers 1 to 8 can be specified by R, G, and B. For each of
highlight 1 to 8, the values of R, G, and B can be specified as 0 to
258 each.
• Close: Closes the color specification screen.
• OK: Reflects the set contents.
