Browse: Enabled when the pull-down menu of User TRC is selected. Select this option to display
the TRC Reference dialog box which will display similar to the following:
RGB
• Simulation: The next RGB color simulations for the input data can be selected.
•
Device (default)
• Ink Simulation
• Profile (PS/PDF format)
Note
For the PS/PDF format, different simulations between upstream and downstream printers
cannot be selected. The color simulation can only be set for the upstream printer.
• Intent: Enabled when Ink Simulation is selected for simulation. The mapping method for
ink simulation is displayed. Absolute, Relative, Perceptual, or Saturation Priority can be
selected. The default is Perceptual.
If Profiles is selected for the PS/PDF format, only the same Intent can be specified for RGB
and CMYK.
• Color Space: Enabled when Ink Simulation is selected for Simulation. The color space for
ink simulation is displayed. The default is sRGB.
• Image Quality: Enabled when Ink Simulation is selected for Simulation. Select the image
quality adjustment method for ink simulation. Either Business Document or Photo can be
selected. The default is Business Document.
Note
Image Priority cannot be selected for RGB for PS/PDF. Business Document has been set.
• CSA Profile: Not supported in this version.
