Authorized Client
• Add: Adds an FTP client. Up to 64 clients can be registered. Addition setting is possible even
while the FTP server is running. Selecting [Add] displays the Add Client Information screen.
The following table lists the contents and functions of the Add Client Information option.

Close Closes the screen by canceling the operation.
Reset Resets the input information.
OK Sets up the information.
IP Address Inputs the IP address of the client authorized for FTP server
connection. Already registered user name cannot be registered.
999,999,999,999 shown in the IP address is used for
connection from an unregistered client. Delete this entry
to restrict the authorized clients.
Data Input Permission Enable: Data input by FTP is permitted.
Disable: Data input by FTP is not permitted.
Check Job by FTP/NLIST Enable: The job confirmation request from the client is accepted.
Disable: No job confirmation request from the client is accepted.
Character Code Auto: Determines automatically whether the kanji code of the job
name input in Japanese is EUC or SJIS.
EUC: Treats the kanji code of the job name input in Japanese as
EUC.
SJIS: Treats the kanji code of the job name input in Japanese as
SJIS.
Comment The information on the connecting FTP client, etc. can be input
within 128 bytes. Input is as desired.
