* The Fantom-Xa’s Chorus effect unit can also be used as a stereo delay unit.

Making Chorus Settings
Parameter Value Explanation
(Chorus Type) 00 (OFF)–03 Selects either chorus or delay.
Chorus Level 0–127 Volume of the sound passed through chorus
Type 01: Chorus
Filter Type OFF, LPF,
HPF Type of filter
OFF: no filter is used
LPF: cuts the frequency range above the Cutoff Freq
HPF: cuts the frequency range below the Cutoff Freq
Cutoff Freq 200–8000 Hz Basic frequency of the filter
Pre Delay 0.0–100.0 ms Delay time from the direct sound until the chorus sound is heard
Rate 0.05–10.00 Hz,
note Frequency of modulation
Depth 0–127 Depth of modulation
Phase 0–180˚ Spatial spread of the sound
Feedback 0–127 Amount of the chorus sound fed back into the effect
Type 02: Delay
Dly Left 0–1000 ms,
note Delay time from the direct sound until the delay sound is heard
Dly Right
Dly Center
Center Feedback
-98–+98 % Proportion of the delay sound fed back into the effect
Negative (-) settings will invert the phase.
HF Damp 200–8000 Hz,
BYPASS Frequency above which sound fed back to the effect will be cut
If you do not want to cut the high frequencies, set this parameter to BYPASS.
Left Level 0–127 Volume of each delay sound
Right Level

Type 03: GM2 Chorus
Pre-LPF 0–7 Cuts the high frequency range of the sound coming into the chorus.
Higher values will cut more of the high frequencies.
Level 0–127 Volume of the chorus sound
Feedback 0–127 Amount of the chorus sound fed back into the effect
Delay 0–127 Delay time from the direct sound until the chorus sound is heard
Rate 0–127 Frequency of modulation
Depth 0–127 Depth of modulation
Send Level To Reverb 0–127 Amount of chorus sound that will be sent to the reverb
