Configuring the 10BaseT Port (Models 3160 and 3165)
To configure the 10BaseT port for SNMP access:
T Set the ENET Use configuration option to your network protocol.
T Set the 10BaseT port’s IP address and subnet mask.
T Set the default gateway address.
Procedure
To configure the 10BaseT port:
1. From the top-level menu screen, select Cnfig.
2. Select the configuration option set to be copied into the Edit area by using the
appropriate Function key. Use the scroll keys, if necessary.
3. Select Edit.
4. Select User.
5. Press F1 (Next) until the ENET Use configuration option appears.
6. Select the appropriate protocol for your network.
