Creating symbolic
links If you machine normally boots into run level 5 you will need to create the following
symbolic links:
ln -s /etc/rc.d/init.d/rio /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S50rio
ln -s /etc/rc.d/init.d/rio /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/K50rio
These links will ensure that the RIO start-up script S50rio is run each time the machine is
booted into run level 5 and that the kill script K50rio is run whenever the machine is
shutdown.
