■ On x86 platforms, Internet Explorer 6.0 and Mozilla 1.7.5 browsers are supported
on Microsoft Windows, and the Mozilla 1.7.5 browser is supported on Solaris and
Linux.
■ On SPARC platforms, the Mozilla 1.7.5 browser is supported on Solaris.
Log in to the service processor (SP) as Administrator or Operator to reach the ILOM
web GUI.
10.4.2 What to Do
1. From the Remote Control tab, choose Redirection.
The Launch Redirection page appears.

2. Click one of the radio buttons to enable you to view the redirected console in
either 16-bit color or 8-bit color.
■ 16-bit color - Select this setting to enable redirection in high-quality video when
using a fast LAN connection.
■ 8-bit color - Select this setting to enable redirection in lower-quality video when
using a slow LAN connection.
Note – Once you start console redirection, in order to change color modes, you must
stop redirection, close the browser, and reconnect in the appropriate mode.
3. Click Launch Redirection.
