Note: One additional group is available when an Expansion module is installed.
The group name depends on the type of Expansion module: X120F2, X120S2,
X120S1, X120L2, X120L1 or X120T8.
Using the SET Command
The
set
command is used to change a particular parameter setting. Since all
parameters are organized into groups, you must first enter the group and then
configure the parameter.
For example, to set parameters in the IP group one-by-one with the list
subcommand, enter:
CajunP120-priv#
set ip list
ip> mng-port-ip [149.49.32.134 255.255.255.0]?
You must either:
•
Press Enter to accept the parameter value displayed in square brackets, or
•
Enter another IP address and net mask such as
194.3.4.1 255.255.255.0
Note: The parameter displayed in square brackets in the parameter values changed
during this session (administrative parameters).
After performing either of these options, the next parameter and its value display.
ip> def-gateway [0.0.0.0]?
Again you must either:
•
Press Enter to accept the parameter value displayed in square brackets, or
•
Enter another IP address and net mask, such as
194.4.3.2 255.255.255.0
After performing either of these options, the next parameter and its value display.
This continues until you have completed all the parameters in the group. You are
then returned to the Privileged level prompt (
CajunP120-priv#
).
Using the SHPORT Command
The
shport
command provides the current settings of all the ports in the
Cajun P120 and expansion module. Port numbering is sequential and will differ
depending upon the type of expansion module.
