Click “Pick Motor test” and then click the Start button.

Repeat steps b through d until no dirt appears on the cloth.

Replace the card cartridge.

Clean the transport area rollers:

a

Open the cover and remove the print ribbon cartridge.

b

Moisten an area of the lint-free cloth with citrus solvent or isopropyl alcohol.

c

Place the moist area of the cloth on the first transport roller (step 1 in
Figure 4-8).

Click “Transport Motor test” and then click the Start button.

Repeat steps b through d until no dirt appears on the cloth.

Repeat steps b through e, placing the cloth on the second transport roller

Repeat steps b through e, placing the cloth on the double rollers (step 3 in

Replace the printer ribbon cartridge, close the swing arm, and close the cover.

If the printer has a duplex module, clean the exit roller.

Open the duplex cover.

Moisten an area of the lint-free cloth with citrus solvent or isopropyl alcohol.

Place the moist area of the cloth on the exit roller (step 1 in Figure 4-8).

Click “Transport Motor test” and then click the Start button.

Repeat steps b and c until no dirt appears on the cloth.

Close the duplex cover.

Connect the power cable to the power source and power on the printer.
