11.1.2 Description
The G.703 data interface is a plug-in module that inserts into the rear of the SDM-2020
Satellite Demodulator chassis.
It provides physical and electrical connection between
terrestrial data equipment and the internal circuitry of the demodulator. The interface is
designed for full duplex capability and is automatically configured for simplex RX
operation.
The interface operates at the digital hierarchy Mbps of:
• 1.544
• 2.048
• 6.312
• 8.448
• 32.064
• 34.368
