PARALLEL/SERIAL INTERFACE
This section describes the plug-in RS-422 Data Interface used with the SDM-2020
Demodulator.
7.1 RS-422 Parallel/Serial Interface
The section describes the RS-422 parallel and serial interface. The interface operates at
RS-422 signal levels. It accommodates a variety of MPEG2 framing formats and EIA-
530 serial data.
IMPORTANT
This module is used in either the SDM-2020 Modulator or Demodulator.
