3. Packet TTL is the time-to-live value in hops (up to 255) for a test packet. This value is
placed in the TTL field in the IP header of the test packet.
4. DF Bit is the value of the Don't Fragment Bit.
5. DSCP Code is a field (Differentiated Services Code Point) in the header of IP Packets for
packet classification purposes. Options are: (0-63).
6. Packet Priority is placed in the IP header of the test packet if the packet is VLAN tagged.
It is used by hubs and switches to establish the priority of packets. Upon network
congestion the hub-and-switch workload results in a delay or dropping of packets. A
packet of higher priority is serviced before a packet of lower priority. 0 highest - 7 lowest.
7. PM Profile Setup shows the state of the PM option. When selected this option takes you
to the PM Profile Setup screen where the parameters for PM and CPM are defined.

8. SAM Profile Setup shows the state of the SAM option. When selected this option takes
you to the SAM Profile Setup screen where the parameters for SAM and CPM are
defined.

9. Purge Result Records lets you delete PM, SAM History and SAM Active Records. The
total number of records for this profile is displayed.
