12.2 EVC Configuration
NOTE: EVC Configuration Records options replace the VLAN multiplexing configuration of pre-
vious versions of the 9145.
This screen represents the main entry point into the forwarding configuration. When the
configuration mode is EVC unaware, the EVC configuration records are not accessible, and the
configuration is done through the VLAN configuration screens under “Port Configuration”.
Use the following steps to navigate to the EVC configuration records. The Record List is the main
entry point to EVC configuration and Statistics monitoring. It displays all EVC records in the
system. Each EVC record is uniquely identified by the S-VLAN ID.
1. On the Main Menu (Figure 2-3), type 12 and press Enter. The EVC Configuration screen
(Figure 12-2) opens. The default value for attribute 1 is “EVC unaware”
