Verifying the Configuration of a Range of Subinterfaces
To verify the configuration of a range of subinterfaces for VLAN encapsulation, enter the following
commands in privilege EXEC mode:
Command Purpose
Router# show running-config Displays the current configuration, including information about
the interfaces and subinterfaces configured on the router and the
type of encapsulation configured for each interface.
Router# show interface Displays information about all interfaces and subinterfaces
configured on the router, including the type of encapsulation
configured for each interface.
Router# show interface interface-type
slot/interface.subinterface
Displays information about the interface or subinterface you
specify, including the type of encapsulation configured.
