Video Resolution
Flat panel monitors are fixed resolution devices and the image looks best
when operated at their native resolution. If you switch the resolution of
this monitor from 1280x1024 resolution, the display may look slightly
distorted due to replication techniques to display the full screen.

The following table lists the amount of video memory you need to run to
each video mode:

Note:

The RAC6185 18.1" Flat Panel Monitor displays images up
to Full Color or True Color mode. The monitor will support
all other color modes, but you must select at least True
Color 24-bit mode within the Control Panel to utilize the
full color range of the monitor.

Video Refresh Rate
Unlike CRT monitors, there is no benefit to operating a flat panel
monitor at higher vertical refresh rates. It is best to select 60 Hz.

Changing the Resolution and Refresh Rate
You can verify and change the video settings for your workstation using
the Windows Control Panel. Select the Start button and select Settings to
access Control Panel. Then select Display from Control Panel to access
display settings.
