Change Memory Letter Designation
Description:
The ^CM command allows the user to reassign a letter designation to the printer’s memory devices.
If a format already exists, you can reassign the memory device to the corresponding letter without
being forced to alter or recreate the format itself.
Using this command will impact every subsequent command that refers to specific memory
locations.
Format: ^CMa,b,c
Parameters:
a= memory alias letter designation
Accepted Values: B: ,E: ,R: ,none
Default Value: B:
b = memory alias letter designation
Accepted Values: B:, E:, R:, none
Default Value: E:
c = memory alias letter designation
Accepted Values: B:, E:, R:, none
Default Value: R:
Comments:
If two or more parameters specify the same letter designator, all letter designators will be set to their
default values.
If any of the parameters are out of specification, the command will be ignored.
