Set “Output Method”.
–
[Forward & Print]: The received original is forwarded and this ma-
chine prints the original.
–
[Forward & Print (If TX Fails)]: The received original is forwarded and
when it cannot be forwarded, this machine prints the original.

Touch [Forward Dest.] and enter the fax number of the recipient to
whom the received original is to be forwarded.

Using the control panel keypad or the keyboard that appears in the
touch panel, type in the fax number of the forwarding destination.

To select a registered address book destination or a group destina-
tion, touch [Select from Address Book].

If the fax multi line kit has been installed, touch [Select Line] to se-
lect the telephone line.

Only the fax number can be entered directly (maximum of 38 digits).

[Tone], [Pause], [-] can be used. Refer to “Fax number input proce-
dure of the destination specification by direct input”, for how to use
these buttons. Refer to “Specifying by direct input” on page 2-24
for the destination specification by the direct input.

The forwarding destination can be selected from the list of regis-
tered destinations by touching [Select from Address Book]. Regis-
tered fax, e-mail, user box, SMB, FTP, Internet fax or IP address fax
destinations can be selected.

In order to use the Internet fax and the IP address fax functions, a
technical expert must specify the settings. Contact your service
representative for details.

When [C] (clear) key is pressed, all entered contents are deleted.

Touch [OK].
The settings are changed.

Touch [Close] until it returns to Fax/Scan screen.
