6.17 Check the recipient’s machine and send the fax

Check Dest. & Send
Compares the specified fax number and recipient’s fax number information
(CSI) and faxes only if they match. If they do not match there is a communi-
cation error and misdirected transmission is prevented.

Detail
Destination confirmed transmission can also be set at the time of Ad-
dress Book registration. In Check Dest. & Send settings, the settings in
Communication Settings of Fax/Scan screen are given priority over con-
tents registered in the Address Book.

The fax number must be correctly registered on the recipient’s machine.
Sending a fax after specifying Check Dest. & Send

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.
