Select the desired end settings and then touch [OK].
– Touch [No] to cancel book-copy function.
– If [Separation], [Front Cover] or [Front + Back Cover] is selected,
[Binding Position] is displayed. Select to match the binding orienta-
tion of the original and then touch [OK].
– Specify “Book Erase” if required. Select the erase method, specify
the deletion width with the keypad or [-] and [+] and touch [OK].
– The black shadow in the surrounding and center part can be erased
by setting “Book Erase”. The “Book Erase” can be used in combi-
nation with other functions.

European models (Metric)
Press keypad or [-] and [+] to specify the Center Erase settings for
European models (Metric). “Input Error” is displayed when a numer-
ical value outside the range is input. When “Input Error” is displayed
or when there is any mistake while entering the deletion width,
press [C] (clear) key and enter the value again.
For North American models (Inch)
For setting the Fold erase values in North American models (Inch)
with fraction display, touch [
], change the numerator and de-
nominator and the touch [-] or [+].
