Example
The following example configures the https port number to 100.
ip https exec-timeout
The ip https exec-timeout Global Configuration mode command sets the interval for the system wait for user
input in https sessions, before automatic logoff. Use the no form of this command to restore the default
configuration.
Syntax
ip https exec-timeout minutes [seconds]
no ip https exec-timeout
Parameters
•
minutes — Integer that specifies the number of minutes. (Range: 1 - 65535)
•
seconds — Additional time intervals in seconds. (Range: 0 - 59)
Default Configuration
The default configuration is the exec-timeout set by the ip http exec-timeout command.

User Guidelines
To specify no timeout, enter the ip https exec-timeout 0 0 command.
Example
The following example configures sets the interval for the system to 1hour.
crypto certificate generate
The crypto certificate generate Global Configuration mode command generates a self-signed HTTPS
