This command is used to activate interfaces that were configured to be active, but were shutdown by the system
for some reason (e.g., port security).
Example
The following example reactivates interface 1/e5.
show interfaces advertise
The show interfaces advertise Privileged EXEC mode command displays auto-negotiation data.

show interfaces advertise [ethernet interface | port-channel port-channel-number]
