Important!
The Samsung account manages the access information (username/password) to
several applications, such as AllShare Play, ChatOn, and Media Hub. For more
information, visit:
Registering with the Service
1. Confirm you have already logged in to your Samsung account. The
icon should not
display in the Notifications bar.
2. Press

(ChatOn).
3. Read the onscreen notification about data charges and tap OK.
4. Select either the Terms and conditions or Privacy policy and read the onscreen
information. Tap Accept to continue.
5. Select a country code and enter your current phone number to register with the service.
6. Choose to receive the verification code via either SMS (text message) or Voice
(answering machine call) to your phone.
7. Enter your real name and tap

Adding Your First Chat On Buddy
1. Press
>
>
(ChatOn).
2. Tap Add buddy and choose a search method.
Phone number: to search by Country code and phone number.
Search by Samsung Account ID: to search by using a known Samsung account ID.
3. Enter the information and tap Search. Once the recipient is matched, their entry appears
in the Results area.
4. Tap Add Buddy and confirm your new buddy appears in the Buddies tab.
Using ChatON for Chatting
1. Press
>
>
(ChatOn).
2. Tap the Buddies tab and select a buddy to initiate your chat.
3. Enter your message using the onscreen text entry method.
4. Tap
to send the message.
