The External LDEV Tier Rank specifies the external LDEV tier rank. If an external LDEV does not
exists in the Available Pool Volumes table or Selected Pool Volumes table, you cannot select the
tier rank.

You can add a maximum of 1,024 volumes, including volumes that already exist in the pool.
