Cnt Ac-S and Cnt Ac-J volume backup in 3DC multi-target configuration
You can use SS to back up Cnt Ac-S and Cnt Ac-J volumes on the remote sites in a 3DC multi-target
configuration.
The following figure shows how to back up the volumes.
Pair 1 is the Cnt Ac-S pair. Pair 2 is the Cnt Ac-J pair. Pair 3 is the Cnt Ac-J pair for a delta
resynchronization. Pair 4, pair 5, and pair 6 are the SS pairs.
To back up the volumes, complete the following:
1.
Create the 3DC multi-target and delta resynchronize pairs (pairs 1, 2, and 3).
2.
Create pair 4.
3.
Create pairs 5 and 6.
NOTE:
You cannot share SS volumes in 3DC Cnt Ac-J/Cnt Ac-J configurations.
