Pool Volumes tab
Use the Pool Volumes tab to view specific pool-VOL information.
Description
Item
The pool-VOL’s LDEV identifier.
LDEV ID
The pool-VOL’s LDEV name.
LDEV Name
Shows the following information about the pool status.
Status
Values:
•
Normal: The pool-VOL is in normal status and is accessible.
•
Shrinking: Reducing the pool-VOL.
•
Blocked: The pool-VOL is blocked and cannot be accessed.
The parity group ID.
Parity Group ID
Shows available capacity of page boundaries in a pool-VOL by the specified
unit. For a pool-VOL with system area, the shown capacity does not include the
capacity of the management area
Usable Capacity
For THP, Smart, and SS pools, if you change the unit of capacity to Cylinder, a
hyphen (-) is shown.
The pool-VOL’s RAID level.
RAID Level
If multiple RAID levels exist in a pool, Mixed is shown.
The pool-VOL’s emulation type.
Emulation Type
The pool-VOL’s data drive type and RPM.
Drive Type/RPM
(External LDEVs) External Storage and the value of the external LDEV tier rank
is shown.
The tier ID.
Tier ID
For SS, a hyphen (-) is shown.
The pool-VOL LDEV’s provisioning type.
Provisioning Type
•
Basic: Internal volume
•
External: External volume
Shows whether you can delete the pool-VOL.
Shrinkable
For SS, a hyphen (-) is shown.
The resource group name and identifier of the LDEV. The ID is in parentheses.

Shrink Pool
Click to open the Stop Shrinking Pools window.

Click to open the Edit External LDEV Tier Rank window.
