Reinstalling Optional Storage Management Applications
Install any value-added HP storage management applications that you had running
on the Storage Management Appliance prior to installing the V2.0 software
update. These applications could include any from the following list:

HP StorageWorks Enterprise Volume Manager V2.0D
■
HP SANworks Network View V2.0B
■
HP StorageWorks Secure Path Manager V4.0
■
HP SANworks Storage Allocation Reporter 1.0D SP2
■
HP OpenView Storage Provisioner V1.0
Reinstalling the V2.0 Software Update
Install the V2.0 software update after you have the V1.0C software installed along
with any value-added HP storage management applications. See “ Before You
Update ,” on page 2 for details on installing the Storage Management Appliance
Software V2.0.
Reinstalling Other Backup Software
If you used other backup software to complete the most recent backup of the
Storage Management Appliance, you must now install that software required on
the Management Appliance. Many other backup systems require an agent to be
installed on the Management Appliance.

backup software.
Restoring the Database and Configuration Data
You can now restore the Storage Management Appliance database and
configuration data.
If you completed the most recent backup using the Management Appliance
feature on the Maintenance page (Settings > Maintenance) then use the Restore
feature available on the same page. See “ Restoring the Management Appliance
Data Files ,” on page 94 for more information.
