NAME

cmu_mod_node -- Add node(s) to the HP Insight CMU database.

SYNOPSIS

# /opt/cmu/bin/cmu_mod_node

<-h | -s | -i | -f filename>

# /opt/cmu/bin/cmu_mod_node -H|--hostname hostname

[-I|--ip ipaddress]

[-M|--mask netmask] [-A|--mac macaddress] [-L|--lg logicalgroup] [-G|--mgt-ip
mgtcardip

] [-R|--arch architecture] [-C|--cartridge num] [-N|--node-number

num

]

DESCRIPTION

Modify one or more nodes in the HP Insight CMU database. A node can be modified interactively
uisng the –i option or from the command line. Multiple nodes can be modified using the –f
filename

option.

OPTIONS

-h|--help

show help

-s|--help-file-syntax

show help for file syntax

-i|--interactive

specify node(s) information is provided interactively

-f|--filename

input node(s) from input file

-H|--hostname hostname

compute node host name

-I|--ip ipaddress

compute node IP address

-M|--mask netmask

compute node netmask

-A|--mac macaddress

MAC address of the NIC attached to the management node network. (Use "-" to separate hex
values.)

-L|--lg logicalgroup

place the node in logical group indicated

-G|--mgt-ip mgtcardip

management card IP address

-R|--arch architecture

node architecture (e.g. "x86_64")

-C|--cartridge num

(ILOCM only) cartridge number within chassis

-N|--node-number num

(ILOCM only) node number within the cartridge
