4.4.8.2 Relay

Relay 2 may be configured as a distance, level, volume switch/alarm or temperature general
alarm signalling a signal loss or power supply failure.

If relay 2 is configured as a signal loss alarm (default), ensure that the final state of the
relay is in the safe state. For example: In case of a power failure alarm invert the relay
and set a delay time greater than 10 seconds in order to avoid faulse alarms.

The delay of the alarm if in ‘default‘ is set within the filter function - section 4.4.3.
