The Redo function reapplies the last editing action that was cancelled by an Undo
action. 10 levels of redo are available.

Insert / Overwrite or /
The Insert/Overwrite Global Mode function makes it possible to toggle between
the Insert and Overwrite mode.
The active mode will be taken into account only when media is dragged to the
timeline.
As the shortcut keys provide a direct insertion mode, the Insert/Overwrite Global
mode defined in the timeline will NOT be taken into account when you use the
shortcut keys.
