This field displays the name of the channel associated to the Playlist Panel, or
displays ‘No Channel’ if no channel is associated to it. The first example is a full
channel name when no facility name has been assigned; the second example is a
named channel.
The ShuttlePro icon
is shown on the left if the ShuttlePRO is associated
with this channel.
The BEPlay icon
is shown on the left if a BEPlay remote
device is associated with this channel.
Playlist / Control Panel Association Display
When a playlist element is loaded on a control panel for editing, the background
color of the Channel Name field turns light purple. Otherwise, it is grey.
On-Air Display
This functionality is used to show that the player channel is on air and to inform
other users that they should not perform any action on the on-air channel.
To activate the on-air status, right-click the Channel Name field and select On Air
from the menu. The background of the field will then flash alternately red.
To deactivate the on-air function, right-click the Channel Name field and uncheck
On Air from the menu.
This only provides a visual warning that the current playlist is On Air.
This can be selected manually on the Playlist Panel or can be set using a GPI. For
more information on setting this parameter using a GPI, see the section ‘Settings
– Input GPIs’ in part 1 of the user manual.
Channel Contextual Menu
Right-clicking the Channel Name field displays the channel contextual menu.
This menu makes it possible to perform the following actions:
