These programs use advanced file sharing applications relying on central servers to search for files.
They use default port 4662.
WWW
The World Wide Web is an Internet system to distribute graphical, hyper-linked information, based
on Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) - a client/server protocol for the World Wide Web. The
Web is not synonymous with the Internet; rather, it is just one service on the Internet. Other services
on the Internet include Internet Relay Chat and Newsgroups. The Web is accessed through use of a
browser.
18.1.7 Services
The commonly used services and port numbers are shown in the following table. Please refer to RFC 1700
for further information about port numbers. Next to the name of the service, two fields appear in brackets.
The first field indicates the IP protocol type (TCP, UDP, or ICMP). The second field indicates the IP port
number that defines the service. (Note that there may be more than one IP protocol type. For example, look at
the DNS service.
(UDP/TCP:53)
means UDP port 53 and TCP port 53.

File Transfer Program, a program to enable fast transfer of files,
including large files that may not be possible by e-mail.
H.323(TCP:1720) NetMeeting
uses this protocol.
