6.14 Configuring User Authentication
The AP-5131 can work with external RADIUS and LDAP Servers (AAA Servers) to provide user
database information and user authentication.
6.14.1 Configuring the Radius Server
The
Radius Server
screen enables an administrator to define data sources and specify
authentication information for the RADIUS Server.
To configure the Radius Server:
1.
Select
System Configuration
->
User Authentication
->
RADIUS Server
from the AP-5131
menu tree.
2.
From within the
Data Source Configuration
field, use the
Data Source
drop-down menu
to select the data source for the Radius server.
Local
An internal user database serves as the data source. Use the
User
Database
screen to enter the user data. For more information, see
Managing the Local User Database on page 6-69
.
