An advanced IP Parameter Setup counter that you can you use to
maintain network efficiency. The purpose of the Time To Live counter
(TTL) is to avoid endless forwarding of message frames with an
incorrect address that pollute the network medium.
The TTL defines a maximum number of passes per hop. Each time
the frame is forwarded by a router, the TTL counter decreases by one.
When the TTL = 0, the frame is rejected.
