Industrial Ethernet Wireless LAN RLM Manager, CP 1515 Manager

Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) data encryption enables you to encrypt all
data that will be transmitted via the wireless LAN medium.

To use WEP within your network, all access points and wireless stations
must be equipped with CP 1515 cards that have been configured to use
identical encryption keys.

To enable encryption:

1.

Start the RLM Manager and select the RLM.

2. Click the

button.

3. Select the

4. Click the

button to view the Wireless Security Setup window

5. Select the option

(QDEOH (QFU\SWLRQ

to enable encryption, and:

Enter up to 4 different keys to decrypt data received via the wireless
interface

Select one of these keys to encrypt wireless data that is to be
transmitted via the wireless interface.

return to the main RLM Manager window.
