Upgrade for the embedded software on the hardware of your
SIMATIC NET IWL product.
n For SIMATIC NET IWL PC Card, firmware upgrades are
distributed as an executable file of the format “wsuVVxxx.exe”

where “xxx” identifies the version of the upgrade. This
executable file is run once on the computer containing the
PC Card.
n For Access Point RLM, firmware upgrades are distributed as a
binary file of the format “wpntxxx.bin”

topology must be updated (for example when a bridge breaks
