An alternative way to load a Project is to hold down the Project button and turn the selection

encoder. Select the desired Project number and press the encoder to load it.

!: Don't hesitate for too long, otherwise the operation will be cancelled.

Projects can be loaded even while the sequencers are running.

: The

MIDI Control Center [p.155]

has a parameter that allows you to specify whether the new

Project should be loaded instantly or wait until after the (drum) sequencer reaches the end of its current
Pattern. See the

Wait to Load Project [p.129]

section to learn about this feature.

6.1.2. Recall A Project from Flash

Once loaded, a Project's settings are stored in flash memory. They will stay there in their

original form while you apply all kinds of changes: changes to tracks, patterns and notes.

Recalling a project from flash will overwrite the changes you have made, and the original

project will be restored.

It's a great performance tool! To give an example:

• Create sequences using the 4 tracks
• Save your project
• Start improvising: make changes to drum gates (using global offset) and

sequence tracks to create tension and then, when the tension is at its peak: recall

the stored Project from flash to restore the original groove!

To restore a project from flash, Hold Project and 'Shift'. The Display will show: "Load Program

from Flash" Press the Encoder and press the encoder next to the display to restore the

program to its original state.
