Reset and Save
Configuration to
Factory Defaults

This option resets all current configuration options to the factory defaults

and saves those options to FLASH memory as the current configuration.

The changes take effect after the TC2201 has rebooted.

Caution:

Resetting to factory defaults from the serial port will affect

ethernet connectivity. User configured values for the IP

address, gateway, and subnet mask, and as well the user

name and password are not retained after the TC2201

resets. The handles resets differently, as described in the

note below.

Note:

Resetting to factory defaults from the Telnet interface will not

affect ethernet connectivity. User configured values for the IP

address, gateway, and subnet maskare retained after the

TC2201 resets. Note that user names and passwords are NOT

retained.

Note:

Settings are not reset to factory defaults until the TC2201 is

rebooted.
