10 MOD Functions
10.7 Selecting the Unit of Measurement
This MOD function determines whether coordinates are displayed in
millimeters or inches.
• Metric system: e.g. X = 15.789 (mm)
MOD function CHANGE MM/INCH
The value is displayed with 3 places after the decimal point
• Inch system: e.g. X = 0.6216 (inch)
MOD function CHANGE MM/INCH
The value is displayed with 4 places after the decimal point
10.8 Selecting the Programming Language
The MOD function PROGRAM INPUT lets you choose between program-
ming in HEIDENHAIN plain language format and ISO format:
• To program in HEIDENHAIN format:
Set the PROGRAM INPUT function to HEIDENHAIN
• To program in ISO format:
Set the PROGRAM INPUT function to: ISO
