Building and editing panels
Appearance The Appearance properties allow you to change the color of the panel’s
canvas or display an image as canvas’ background.
•
F ONT : Sets the default font properties (style, size...etc.) for Text
objects added to the panel’s canvas.
• B ACK C OLOR : Determines the solid color of the panel canvas’
background.
• B ACKGROUND N AME : Allows you to select an image asset as the
canvas’ background rather than a solid background color and
displays the image asset’s name.
• B ACKGROUND L OCATION : Allows you to select an image asset as
the canvas’ background rather than a solid background color and
displays the image asset’s location.
Guides Guides are virtual lines that are superimposed over the panel’s canvas
in Design mode. You can use the guides as a reference when arranging
or aligning objects. While the guides are activated using the

ORMAT >A DD G UIDES menu command, the Guides properties can be
used to set the visibility, color and whether or not the guides are locked
to a specific position.

G UIDES A CTIVE : Determines whether or not the guides will have
snap-to functionality.
• G UIDES C OLOR : Determines the color of the guides.
• G UIDES L OCK : Determines whether or not the guides will be locked
in place or available for repositioning.
• G UIDES V ISIBLE : Determines whether or not the guides are visible.
Home Area The Home Area is the area surrounding the panel’s canvas. The Home
Area properties allow you to set the size, color and visibility of the home
area.

H OME A REA W IDTH : Determines the width of the home area.
• H OME A REA H EIGHT : Determine the height of the home.
• H OME A REA C OLOR : Determines the color of the home area.
• H OME A REA L OCK : Determines whether or not the home area can
be resized by dragging from its edges and corners.
• H OME A REA V ISIBLE : Determines whether or not the home area will
be visible.
Production • A UTO L OAD S CENE : Determines whether or not to automatically
load the scene.
• A UTO T AKE : Determines whether or not to automatically take the
panel to air.
• A VAILABLE T AKES : Sets the number of takes that can be taken to air
with the panel.
