Creating and working with stories and rundowns in ENPS
Creating a new rundown in ENPS
If your system administrator has granted you the appropriate privileges, you can create a
new Rundown in the ENPS system.
To create a new rundown:
1.
Open the ENPS application on the client workstation (see page 3-2 ).
2. Select the S YSTEM FOLDER ROVER > N EW > R UNDOWN as demonstrated in figure 9-1 .
The R UNDOWN P ROPERTIES window appears (figure 9-2 ).

3. Enter the name of the new rundown in the P ROGRAM field.
4. Scroll down the properties list and enable the MOS C ONTROL A CTIVE field by clicking the
empty box to its right. As figure 9-2 shows, a check mark appears when this property is
enabled. This property links the rundown to the MOS Server (i.e. Xmedia Server).

5. Click the G O button.
The rundown is created and exists on the ENPS system, but it does not exist on the
Xmedia Server until an initial story is added to the rundown. See
page 9-3 and page
9-5 for instructions on how to add a story to a rundown and populate it in ENPS.
