Clip Assets: Opening and editing the Mark In/Out settings
To preview the effects of the trim and fade settings by playing out the clip:
1.
Make the desired changes to the trim and fade settings along the video and/or audio
tracks (see
“Setting the Trim In and/or Trim Out points” on page 8-8 ).
2. Using the Current Position time display and the preview panel as a reference, drag and
drop the C
URRENT P OSITION LINE on the video track frame where you want the playout
to begin from.
3. click the P LAY button in the Preview control below the video and audio tracks.
The clip begins to play immediately in the Preview panel.

OTE
You can stop the playout in the Preview panel at any time by clicking the S TOP button in
the Preview control. As well, you can set the playout to loop, or play repeatedly, by selecting
the L
OOP check box in the Preview control.
